Housing Executive laneway cleaning programme welcomed
Sinn Féin Councillor Eric McGinley has welcomed the commitment from the Housing Executive to provide an ongoing laneway cleaning programme for Ballymagroarty.
Colr. McGinley said: “In recent weeks the Housing Executive has identified a responsibility for ensuring that the laneways in the upper area of Ballymagroarty are regularly maintained and cleaned.
“This is a welcome development and is part of a programme which will see the H.E. attempt to identify further areas of responsibility within the estate.
“In conjunction with this, I have been working with the Council to ensure the front facing streets and footpaths in the whole estate are given proper attention.”
