'˜Kevin's loss will be keenly felt' - Derry GAA
The association issued a statement on Friday following the tragic sudden death of the 22-year-old from Tamnaherin on Thursday night.

Hide AdIn a statement issued today, Derry GAA said they were “shocked and saddened to learn of the sudden death of Kevin King”, adding:
“A talented footballer and a former member of our U21 panel, Kevin’s loss will be keenly felt throughout the local GAA community.
“Our thoughts and prayers are with Kevin’s family, friends and all at St Mary’s GAA, Slaughtmanus. We wish them all strength at this time.
“Ar dheis Dé go raibh a anam uasal.”
A PSNI spokesman meanwhile this afternoon confirmed that a post-mortem is to be carried out.

Hide AdHe said: “Police received the report of the sudden death of a man, aged in his 20s, in the Derry area that had occurred the previous evening.
“The death is not being treated as suspicious at this time. A post mortem examination is due to take place.”
