Limavady businesses invest more than £2m and create dozens of jobs

P & L Electrics Limited, Reinforced Concrete Detailing Services, Carnroe Supplies Ltd, Limavady Roller Doors Ltd, Seating Matters, Worldwide IPGenie and Annie’s Traditional Food Ltd have each worked with Invest Northern Ireland to grow their businesses and create new employment opportunities.

Announcing the major investment on a visit to Limavady on Wednesday, Jonathan Bell said: “This substantial investment of £3m across seven local businesses is testament to the commitment and drive of these companies to prosper and grow and will enhance their overall competitiveness in an ever challenging marketplace.

“The 51 new jobs, across a range of roles and industries, will contribute over £1m annually in additional salaries to the local economy.

“One of my Department’s core priorities is to help local businesses develop and flourish and to create the conditions that will allow businesses in all

sectors to achieve targeted growth. Creating jobs and growing a prosperous, thriving economy to benefit the whole of Northern Ireland is at the heart of this work.

“With Invest NI support, these businesses will drive exports and deliver excellent benefits not only to the local area but to the wider Northern Ireland

economy. My Department and Invest NI will continue to work with local stakeholders, businesses and the Causeway Coast & Glens Borough Council to encourage further growth within this region.”

P & L Electrics Limited in Limavady is investing £930,872 to target new business in the commercial and industrial sectors outside Northern Ireland

with £82,140 of support offered by Invest NI to create 15 new jobs. The average salary of the new jobs is £25,000.

RCDS NI Ltd (Reinforced Concrete Detailing Services) in Limavady has benefitted from £15,000 of support from Invest NI to take on three new staff in an overall investment of £157,400. The support will allow the company to increase employees from seven to 10, with one of the jobs already in place and target further growth in the Great Britain & Rol markets over the next two years.

Limavady Roller Doors Ltd in Limavady is investing over £494,880 and creating five new jobs in a move to increase export sales. Invest NI has provided £27,964 of support to accelerate the growth of the company.

Seating Matters Ltd situated near Limavady, is investing £447,052 to generate new export sales. Invest NI has offered the company £48,000 of assistance to create 10 new jobs and to maintain and grow sales within markets in Great Britain, Europe and North America, in particular.

Carnroe Supplies Ltd based near Kilrea, is investing £618,000 in an investment which will create nine new jobs, increasing its workforce to 30 people. Invest NI has offered the company £48,000 to assist it to realise its growth ambitions.

Worldwide IPGenie based in Coleraine is investing £114,678 to grow sales in external markets. Invest NI has offered the company £12,182 of support for two jobs, both of which are now in place.

Annie’s Traditional Food Ltd based in Coleraine is investing a total of £319,500 towards the creation of seven new jobs. Invest NI has offered the company £25,000 towards the project.
