Man hospitalised after falling off Derry roof - HSE investigating
The Health and Safety Executive are investigating an incident in which a man fell off a roof in Derry.
The incident occurred on Thursday night.
The man was hospitalised but he was not seriously injured.
Police said they received a report of a young male, who had fallen off the roof of a building site at the Strand Road area of Derry on Thursday, February 4.
"At around 10:25pm, it was reported that the male was found in the area. Emergency Services, who were in attendance took the male to hospital for injuries not believed to be serious
"The Health and Safety Executive have been made aware following the incident and are investigating," the PSNI confirmed.
