Mark Farren's widow Terri-Louise helps Glenavon to lift cup
Terri-Louise also led the teams on to the pitch at the start of the match and after Glenavon F.C. were crowned champions the players revealed a large banner which read ‘Mark, your courage will never be forgotten’.
Farren played for Derry City F.C. for almost 10 years during which time he became the club’s all time top goal-scorer.

Hide AdFarren passed away aged 33 at the beginning of February after battling a brain tumour for the third time.
The Greencastle born footballer played just more than a dozen games for Glenavon F.C. between 2013 and 2014 but it was the way in which he fought off the pitch that impressed fans.
Glenavon F.C. dedicated their cup final victory to Farren when all of the players wore T-shirts with Farren’s name and a shirt number (10) on their backs.
“The victory was for Mark,” said Glenavon F.C. manager, Gary Hamilton.
“I hope he was up there in heaven looking down on us today and I was delighted that his wife Terri-Louise was able to lead the teams out,” he added.
