Organised by Derry City and Strabane District Council’s Community Relations Section, the reflective event provided the opportunity to consider those affected by the holocaust and subsequent genocides. The theme for this year’s Holocaust Memorial Day was ‘Don’t Stand By’ encouraging people to challenge racism, sectarianism, homophobia and all other forms of prejudice they may encounter.
