Founder and investor Nadine Sweeney said: “The fundraising efforts of our members goes to prove that there is a huge want and passion for alternative arts education facilities here in Derry. The generous support of the local community and other arts organisations further establishes that want as a need. We have an open door for all arts and community practitioners and encourage everyone to take advantage of this new studio and bring their creative energy to the venue. I visualise a future where artists, teachers and organisations collaborate and share knowledge and experience for the development of the arts community. Providing an accessible space is one small contribution to that vision.”
