New premises for Derry dance and theatre company

Thanks to fundraising efforts of company members and support from the local community this innovative arts company can now boast a beautiful studio in Diamond Park, Pennyburn Industrial Estate.

The fantastic facility is equipped with sprung flooring, Harlequin, mirrors, ballet barres, showers and changing facilities, the space is the ideal premises and location to meet the company’s mission statement, ‘to make a high standard of arts education accessible to all.’

Fireworks DDTA offers a fully inclusive environment through a creative education curriculum. It is this unique setting combined with a strong learner – centred pedagogy that continues to strengthen the company’s foundation for success.

The space is accessible to all members of the community and there are workshops on the schedule to suit all ages and all levels of ability.

Founder and investor Nadine Sweeney said: “The fundraising efforts of our members goes to prove that there is a huge want and passion for alternative arts education facilities here in Derry.
