Number of people assaulted outside nightclub
Inishowen Garda Superintendent Eugene McGovern told the ‘Journal’ a ‘disturbance’ involving a number of people took place outside the Bailey nightclub in Redcastle between 3.30 - 3.40am on Saturday morning.
Supt McGovern said a man was collecting his son from the premises when the incident occurred. A “number of people” were assaulted and the man sustained injuries in the incident.

Hide AdAdditionally, Gardai believe a second incident which occurred in Gleneely later that morning may be linked to that in Redcastle.
At 5.45am, also on Saturday morning, at Carrowmore, Gleneely, damage was caused to “one of the parties’ houses”, and to a car.
Superintendent McGovern said: “We believe these two incidents are related and we would ask anyone who may be able to assist us in our enquiries, whether in relation to the incident at Gleneely or at Redcastle, to contact us.”
