Only one Derry tourist attraction included in Tourism NI list of Things To Do In The North in 2016
Blue Badge Tours’ Mickey Cooper said the list, which includes Titanic Belfast, the Giant’s Causeway and the Galgorm Resort and Spa does not reflect the strategic tourist attractions of Derry.
The only local tourist attraction to be included in the list is the newly opened Siege Museum on Society Street.

“However, when I look at the list and see strategic tourist attractions from Belfast included and the Derry equivalent omitted, I can’t help but feel surprised.
“This list does not reflect the strategic approach needed to promote tourist attractions in Derry,” added Mr. Cooper.
A spokesperson for Tourism NI described the compiling of the list as “normal practice”.

“Tourism NI continues to work with our partners in Derry/Londonderry to maximise tourism activity in the city and beyond,” said the spokesperson.
