Coronavirus NI: Nine more people die after testing positive for COVID-19 - death toll now 855 - 49 people fighting for lives in ICU - 472 new cases diagnosed

The latest Department of Heath dashboard reveals tha seven people died within he last 24 hours - and another two people died outside that period.

The death toll in NI now stands at 855.

There are now 49 people fighting for their lives in ICU - and a total of 415 people confiirmed as having COVID-19 in our hospitals.

Meanwhile another 472 people have tested positive as having the deadly virus.

In the last seven days 3,920 people tested positive in NI.

The DoH are also reporting there are now 147 confirmed outbreaks of COVID-19 in NI care Homes - and three suspected outbreaks.
