Coronavirus NI: Ten people die with COVID-19 in the last 24 hours - 679 new infections - 50 in ICU fighting for their lives - 418 patients with Coronavirus in our hospitals

Another ten people have died within the last 24 hours with Coronavirus, the Department of Health has revealed.

The latest dashboard shows that the total deaths now in NI stands at 740.

There are currently 50 patients fighting for their lives in ICU - and a total of 418 patients in our hospitals with confirmed COVID-19.

The dashboard also reveals that another 679 people have tested positive for having the virus.

This means that 40,858 have not tested positive for Coronavirus in NI - 4,498 within the last seven days.

And there are now 120 confirmed outbreaks of COVID-19 in NI Care Homes - with nine suspected cases.
