Death toll rises to 1,850 as 731 people with COVID-19 treated in our hospitals

Another 19 people have sadly died after testing positive for COVID-19, the Department of Health dashboard has revealed.

The bashboard reveals that 16 people died within the last 24 hours and another three outside that time period.

That means that a total of 1,850 people have died in NI with the virus.

There are now 731 people in NI hospitals with COVID-19 - and 19 of those in ICU.

Meanwhile another 426 people have been diagnosed as having COVID-19.

In the last seven days that number rises to 3,811.

There are now 127 active COVID-19 outbreaks in NI Care Homes.
