Gerard was met by his wife Sharon, daughters Kate and Jane and their dog Dolly and the family were delighted to be reunited again. Once on the solid ground of Derry’s quay, Gerard was met by friends, family and well-wishers to congratulate him on his transatlantic voyage back home to Derry. Gerard was part of the Ha Long Bay, Vietnam boat and will now be able to enjoy a long week at home before he sets off on the final race to London.
