Du Pont Derry veteran Dick Huff passes away in Virginia USA aged 95

The death has occurred in Waynesboro, Virginia, USA, of Richard (Dick) Lloyd Huff, a former employee of the Du Pont plant in Derry.
Aged 95, Dick Huff was twice based in the Du Pont plant at Maydown, the first time from 1971 to 1975 when he was the Orlon Senior Process Supervisor.
He was also employed at the Du Pont plant in Derry again from 1977 to 1980 when he was the Orlon Production Superintendent.

Hide AdOn both occasions he was accompanied to Derry by his wife Betty and children, Charmaine and Brian and they made many friends in the city.
During his 40 year career with Du Pont, Mr Huff also worked in the company's plants in New York, Waynesboro, South Carolina, Holland, Australia and China.
Mr Huff was predeceased by his wife of 61 years, Betty, and is survived by his two children, Charmaine and Brian and his grandson, Jackson.
