Foyle Search and Rescue confirm body recovered after search operation
Foyle Search & Rescue have confirmed that a body has been recovered following a search operation.
At 1.52pm on Saturday, September 5, Foyle Search & Rescue’s pager system was activated by the Police Service of Northern Ireland.
The Derry charity said a mobile unit, jet ski, three boats and base support team responded to the call.

Hide Ad“Our Emergency Response Team had the sad task of conducting the body recovery of a male.
“Our current search and recovery operations have been stood down,” a spokesperson for Foyle Search & Rescue said, adding;
“All volunteers and Staff at Foyle Search & Rescue send our sincere condolences to the family concerned.
“If you need support and help please don’t do it alone reach out.”
