With more names to be announced and recorded throughout a challenging time in society, now (while we’re all forced to stop and stay inside), is a better time than ever to reflect on our own lives and focus on the good stuff.

From the monumental to the mundane, essential to the completely frivolous, each guest’s thanks lead them on to a wider discussion about everything from careers, mental health, friendship, failure, love, isolation and wellbeing.

Produced by Rethink Audio, creators of successful podcasts such as Fearne Cotton’s Happy Place, Mary Portas’ Work Like A Woman and The Times’ Tales of Silicon Valley, Angela hopes to get more people giving simple thank yous to the people, things and situations that have helped them out in life.

Angela Scanlon said: “More than ever we need to be thankful for the smaller things in life. I have assembled a list of thanxperts, and all-round brilliant humans, to have a chat all about what they’re thankful for, and figure out if we can change our lives for the better by simply appreciating the things we have...and yes, I may be using this podcast as a way of getting Oprah to love me but if she doesn’t, I’ll just be thankful she’s in the world.

“You may even find yourself dishing out some more thanks of your own because basically, gratitude is your soul’s superfood, but cheaper than goji berries, and twice as good for you.”
