The pair impressed with their Viennese Waltz, with judge Brian Redmond stating it was the best ballroom he had seen in many years of the series.

He hailed Grainne’s footwork as ‘immaculate.’

Judge Lorraine Barry said the dance was a ‘masterclass’ in the Viennese Waltz and labelled it ‘brilliant.’

Judge Darren Bennett, filling in for Julian Benson, said the dance was ‘game-changing’ for Grainne.

There was much excitement in the studio when the judges each gave Grainne and Kai 10 out of 10 points, the first time the top score has been achieved this series. It put the pair at the top of the leaderboard with Ryan Andrews, who later also received 30 points.

B’witched star Sinead O’Carroll was the latest to be voted off the show, which returns next week.
