The Inishowen clubs recently launched the Win A House 2020 draw to raise funds for both Inishowen clubs.

It follows a similar draw by Aileach FC in 2018, when a house, also in Buncrana, was won by PJ Bonar.

Tickets cost 100 euro and the main prize is the four bedroom, semi detached house in Gleann Aoibhinn, Clonbeg.

Second prize is a one week all-inclusive cruise in the Mediterranean worth €2,500, or the cash equivalent, and other prizes include €1000 vouchers for a number of businesses, as well as nights away in hotels and TVs.

Aileach FC Chairperson Stephen O’Donnell told the Journal that in order to increase the odds of winning, tickets are limited to 4,000.

The draw will take place in the Halfway House in Tooban on December 29. Proceeds will go to Aileach FC, who continue to pay the debt of constructing their clubhouse, and Cockhill Celtic, which celebrates its 50th birthday this year.

There are also two ‘early pay’ prizes, for those whose tickets are fully paid up by October 31, as well as payment options. See www.winahouse2020.com
