The men were shot dead by the British Army in Dove Gardens on March 14, 1972. Mitchel McLaughlin gave the main oration. Fiona Gallagher read the Bobby Sands poem Weeping Wind and Fiachra McGuinness laid a wreath on behalf of the Republican Movement.
