The Easter Monday demonstration was organised by the hard line republican group Saoradh’s National Committee and was attended by members of the organisation who had travelled to the city from throughout the country.
A parade from Central Drive to the City Cemetery was notified by the Parades Commission.
The main address at the Republican Monument was delivered by local Saoradh member Barry Millar.
