Matalan unveils refreshed Derry store following major transformation
Matalan has reopened its newly refurbished Derry store, following a significant investment aimed at enhancing the shopping experience.
The store has undergone a complete refresh, with every department updated to create a brighter, more contemporary environment.
Redesigned layouts and reconfigured shop floor space offer a more spacious feel, making it easier for customers to browse an expanded range of fashion and homeware collections.

"The refurbishment has made a huge difference to the overall look and feel of the store, creating a brighter, more spacious and more enjoyable experience for our customers.
“With expanded fitting rooms, upgraded till areas and refreshed departments throughout the store, we’re proud to offer an improved shopping experience alongside an even wider range of products and brands for the local community to enjoy.”
As part of the refurbishment the fitting room area has been expanded from three to seven rooms.
The new till area features upgraded checkouts and a larger, more open layout.
The refreshed store showcases Matalan’s latest concept design, incorporating sleek modern fixtures, upgraded fashion display areas, elevated plinths and contemporary grey mannequins.
New lightboxes and enhanced signage also feature.
Customers can enjoy a selection of popular concessions in-store, including Totally Toys, Card Factory and Blue Vanilla, which joins the store as a brand-new addition.
A special launch event will take place from 9am on Saturday, June 6. Visitors will have the opportunity to explore the store while enjoying giveaways, hidden vouchers and exclusive discounts available throughout the reopening week.
