One death and 73 more people test positive for Covid-19 in last 24 hours

Another 73 people have tested positive for Covid-19 in the last 24 hours, the Department of Health dashboard has revealed.

In the same time period another death has been reported in NI.

This brings the death toll here to 2,143.

Meanwhile in the last seven days a total of 695 tested positive for Covid-19 in NI.

In total 119,785 people have tested positive for the virus in NI.

At the moment there are now 61 patients with Covid-19 being cared for in NI hospitals - and of that number there are five who are being cared for in ICU.

And there are now four active Covid-19 outbreaks in NI Care Homes.
