Parents urged to warn children after reports of roof climbing at Derry Holy Child P.S
Sinn Féin councillor Emma McGinley has urged parents to speak with their children following reports that children have been seen climbing onto the roof of Holy Child Primary School.
Colr. McGinley said: “I am receiving concerning reports that children are, yet again, climbing on to the roof at Holy Child Primary School and have been the past few nights.
“This is resulting in damage to the school building, and some other antisocial behaviour too.
“The staff at Holy Child work so hard to support children and families in our community - they shouldn't be having to deal with damage to the building too!

“This is dangerous and I would urge parents to have a word with their children and make sure they aren't involved, and are aware of the dangers of this kind of behaviour.
“The last thing we want to see is a child being seriously hurt or worse.”
