Derry City and Strabane District Council has joined up with the councils in Fermanagh and Omagh and Causeway Coast and Glens, South West Age Partnership along with the Western Health and Social Care Trust and the Public Health Agency to produce the 2024 Age Friendly Calendar and people were asked to submit pictures of their happy place. Getting festive in Caw…Welcoming Santa at the Caw/Nelson Drive Action Group’s Crescent Community & Cultural Centre is Andy Mullan, Housing Executive Good Relations Officer, with 3 year old Scarlett, her mum Rachel, her granny Joanna and Linda Watson BEM, centre co-ordinator. This special Santa’s Grotto experience was funded by a Housing Executive Community Cohesion grant which enabled local families to meet Santa, get professional Christmas photographs taken and also ensured that every child went home with a present to put under the tree. 7. The organisers and sponsors of the Walled City 10 Mile Road Race met with the Mayor Councillor Patricia Logue in the Guildhall to provide an update on their plans for the event in 2024.
