Radio presenter Sean Coyle returning to the airwaves

Radio favourite Sean Coyle will return to the airwaves on Radio Foyle on MOnday following an absence due to the presenter self-isolating.

From Monday afternoon Sean Coyle will be broadcasting from home in his usual afternoon slot from 3pm weekdays.

His return has been warmly welcomed by his many fans who have missed his presence on the radio over recent weeks.

Speaking on BBC Radio Foyle’s Breakfast Show ahead of his return to the airways, he said: “I’m looking forward to it. It’s business as usual on BBC Radio Foyle from just after the 3pm News. I want to hear the stories, what people have been doing.

“People need another friend in the corner of the room, someone to talk to, and hopefully Radio Foyle is that friend.”

He added that the programme will continue to be directed by the requests they get in from listeners and the usual mixture of banter and songs.
