Foyle College student Alex Patterson from Eglinton completed the challenge on May 1 and set up GoFund me page with a target amount of £1,800. Through the generosity of everyone who donated Alex smashed her target amount with one donator donating £400 for a painting of the Titanic. The final total raised was £5,025.

Alex is 13 years old and already a talented artist. She has donated her two stunning landscape paintings to her local nursing homes Longfield Care Home and Templemoyle Private Nursing Home.
