Heidi said she was excited to film the documentary , which was ‘all good fun and good craic.’ She told the Journal how her family is very excited for her and her friends have been tagging her on Facebook when they see the documentary mentioned. She added how she believes, since the launch of 2020, the publicity and coverage of women in sport is ‘definitely getting better.’ She added how she would ‘know a lot of girl footballers now but I wouldn’t have known of them two years ago.’

“I would like to see more girls playing sports because it’s great fun, you meet loads of new friends and it’s good exercise. It would be good to see more pictures of girls making the local papers because it’s usually just the boys. Sometimes we get pictures in the paper if it’s a final. Us girls are just as good as the boys!”
