‘Thank you!’ - frontline staff at Western Trust express gratitude to everyone : Details of how you can donate or volunteer

Staff at the Western Trust have expressed a sincere thank you to local businesses, schools and the general public for their cooperation, support and kindness over the past few weeks.

A spokesperson for the medical, social care and support staff and Trust bosses said: “We have been inundated with messages and offers to donate many items, such as refreshments for staff, accommodation and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

“We very much appreciate all these kind gestures.”

The Trust said that in an effort to manage the many donations, and to ensure that people are not coming to Altnagelvin or its other hospitals unnecessarily, a number of drop-off points across the Western Trust area have been established.
