Derry people both young and old were out enjoying the snow in Brooke Park on Tuesday as schools closed for the day.

People were seen sledding down hills on sleighs as well as baking trays, biscuit tin lids and plastic boxes while children made the ‘biggest snowball ever’ and tried to push it down the hill. Even the dogs seemed to be having a good time as they stuck their noses into the fluffy white stuff. Certainly, many happy memories were made in the city centre park today.
