Woman’s body recovered in Derry : PSNI investigating sudden death
Police in Derry have confirmed this morning that they are investigating the circumstances surrounding the sudden death of a female, aged in her 20s.
A PSNI spokesperson said the young woman’s body was recovered from the River Foyle on Monday night.
A major operation had been enacted at the scene late last night.
It is understood numerous emergency services were involved in the operation.

Hide AdA PSNI spokesperson said today: “Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the sudden death of a female, aged in her 20s, whose body was recovered from the River Foyle in Derry/Londonderry around 11pm last night, Monday 24 February.
“A post mortem examination will take place in due course to determine the cause of death.”
