Number of Coronavirus cases in Northern Ireland rises to 68

The number of cases of coronavirus in Northern Ireland now stands at 68 with six more positive cases confirmed today (Wednesday).

The Department of Health has confirmed that as of 2pm on March 18, “testing has resulted in six new positive cases”.

The total number of COVID-19 tests completed in Northern Ireland now stands at 1,482 - with around 100 new tests completed since yesterday.

The Department of Health has advised: “People with mild symptoms - new persistent cough and/or fever - should stay at home and self-isolate. They will not require testing and will not therefore be included in testing totals.”
