Searches ongoing for missing John Concannon
John’s brother Michael said there has been no new leads and no change since the 71-year-old vanished on November 10 after alighting from a bus in the Lenamore area of the city, close to the border.
Thousands of people from Derry, Inishowen and further afield joined emergency and rescue services, police and Gardai in mass public searches in the months following dementia sufferer John’s disappearance.

“They just keep going and they have said they are not going to stop. We really appreciate the effort they have continued to put in. We still go out with them as often as we possibly can.
“Everything has been put on hold until we hear something one way or the other. It has been a nightmare. It is a never ending saga.
“Any information would be appreciated,” he added. There was very little hope at the start and less now.”
