Shantallow Community Centre extension approved
A two-storey extension at Shantallow Community Centre has been unanimously approved by members of Derry City and Strabane District Council's planning committee.
Councillors approved the application after being advised by officers that the "design is functional and the extension and renovations will improve the appearance of the Community Centre" and that "the existing buildings are dilapidated and in need of upgrade and repair and this proposal represents betterment".
