Earlier this month it was announced that CLIC Sargent intended to name one of the rooms inside the new ‘Home To Home’ facility after Sorcha.
Sorcha’s family visited the new home, named Amy’s House, and were given a tour at the opening. They were then shown ‘Sorcha’s Room’. “We love the room,” said Sorcha’s mum Christina. “It is just fantastic and we are delighted that it will have her name and provide support for so many families.

The house name is a tribute to Amy Reid, 20, from Newtownards, whose family have campaigned and fundraised tirelessly for CLIC Sargent since she died from metastatic melanoma in February 2013, raising more than £35,000 for the charity.
