One woman, who did not want to be named, claimed two men dressed in black emerged from a van that was parked outside a block of flats and approached two young girls aged between eight and nine.
Another woman said she was walking her dog in the Ard Grange area at around 6:30pm when a white van followed her but sped off when other people appeared on the street.

The 11 year-old was walking at Gortin Manor at around 5pm on Monday January 4 and as he passed a parked van close to St Columba’s Primary School, a side door opened. The boy was anxious about the incident and ran home.
Officers have been conducting house-to-house enquiries and are keen to hear from anyone with knowledge of the incident.
