Meanwhile, the PSNI have been making enquiries in relation to a white van following a report of an approach to a young boy in Newbuildings last week.

The 11 year-old was walking at Gortin Manor at around 5pm on Monday January 4 and as he passed a parked van close to St Columba’s Primary School, a side door opened. The boy was anxious about the incident and ran home.

Officers have been conducting house-to-house enquiries and are keen to hear from anyone with knowledge of the incident.
