It is set within the context of 20 acres of historic parkland which is in the final stages of a massive £5.6m transformation. The regeneration of the park is well underway and completion of the project is anticipated by early summer of this year.

The Mayor of Derry City and Strabane District, Councillor Elisha McCallion said, “This will be a fantastic opportunity for anyone hoping to establish a new business or extend their existing business offering within the context of a historic parkland.

“The Pavilion is located right beside a new state of the art children’s play environment and has a spacious floor area of 230 sq m with terraces to the front and rear of the building. The café will also benefit from the close proximity of the much anticipated new sports and leisure facilities on site.

“The view alone is enough to attract tourists and visitors to this beautiful location as well as the historic links to one of the city’s most famous landmarks, known locally as ‘The People’s Park’.”
