Coronavirus: Derry and Strabane COVID-19 positive case total remains at 155

The number of people to have tested positive for COVID-19 in Derry and Strabane remains at 155, the Department of Health confirmed on Thursday.

Twenty people have died after contracting the SARS-CoV-2 virus, according to the latest daily COVID-19 dashboard, no change on the previous day's figure.

In total 1,849 people in Derry and Strabane have been tested with 155 positive confirmed cases and 1,694 negative.

The new data released by the DoH were valid up until 9am on Thursday.

There have now been 169 positive COVID-19 cases and 29 people have died in the neighbouring Causeway Coast and Glens area.

Seventy-five people have tested positive and ten people have died in Fermanagh and Omagh.

And Belfast, the worst affected area, has suffered 1,217 cases and 128 deaths.
