The woman, one of the incredible staff at the North West Cancer Centre at Altnagelivn Hospital, has asked to remain anonymous.

But she's happy for the 'Journal' to share the lyric of encouragement and positivity in these challenging and unprecedented times.

It's called 'Stay Strong' and reads as follows.

Stay Strong

To all who work in the NWCC,

The crisis which affects us, is plain to see.

Donning on the gloves, aprons, visors and masks,

In order to complete our daily tasks.

Anxiety and worry is surely heightened,

And footfall through the door is now tightened.

We are here to support each other,

Or can use the ‘wobble’ room, to talk and blubber.

So stay safe by following the guidelines,

And minimise the viewing of the local headlines.

This helps reduce the risk to your family and you,

That will include the symptoms and your mental health too!!

Each day will pass and we will work as a team,

Patients coming through in a steady stream.

No matter where you work, or what you do,

We’re in this together, to see it through!!!
