Man to appear in court tomorrow in connection with Derry burglary

A man is expected to appear in Bishop Street tomorrow charged with a number of offences connected to an alleged burglary in Derry.

The charges relate to an incident in the Foyle Springs area last December.

Detectives investigating incidents in the Springvale Park have charged a 23-year-old man with a number of offences.

He has been charged with two counts of theft, burglary, handling stolen goods and attempting to convert criminal property.

He is expected to appear at Derry Magistrates’ Court tomorrow, Saturday, May 2.

As is normal procedure, all charges will be reviewed by the Public Prosecution Service.
