Three due in court to face GBH charges in connection with serious Derry assault

Three men are due to appear in court in Derry to face charges connected with a serious assault in the city on Sunday which left a man in intensive care in hospital.

Detectives investigating a serious assault in the Carlisle Road area of Derry/Londonderry on Sunday, May 3, have charged three males over the assault.

The three, aged 17, 34 and 38, have each been charged with grievous bodily harm with intent and are expected to appear at Derry Magistrates’ Court today, Tuesday, May 5.

As is normal procedure, all charges will be reviewed by the Public Prosecution Service.
