The Chief Executive of the Western Trust has said gifts and donations from the people of Derry are providing a major boost to morale amid the COVID-19 emergency.

In a video message Dr. Anne Kilgallen also thanked staff across the health authority for the "tremendous work" they were putting in to ensure the people that depended on them get the best care possible.
She said all the businesses, individuals and community groups who have come to the organisation with gifts and donations recently have provided a great boost.
"It means a huge amount to us and just lifts our spirits," she said.
