The Derry MP acknowledged it was "a very different St. Patrick's Day" to what we are used to.
But he said he believed people were ahead of the Government in how they were reacting to the scale of the emergency and reiterated his call for schools to be closed in the North.
Mr. Eastwood said: “We are all in this together for however long it takes.”
