The Met Office is also warning of heavy rain and some hill snow on Tuesday night and into the early hours of Wednesday morning.
The Met Office also warned that there is a small chance of fast-flowing water that could pose a danger to life.
The weather experts also said that where flooding occurs there is a “slight chance” that some communities could become cut off by flooded roads as well as a chance of power cuts and loss of other services to some homes and businesses.
