Woman and child struck by mobility scooter
Police at Strand Road in Derry are keen to speak to anyone who saw an incident in which a woman and a young child were struck by a mobility scooter in the city centre this morning.
The incident happened at William Street at about 11.30am.
A woman and her grandson, who was in a pushchair, were knocked over by an unknown female on a mobility scooter while standing on a footpath.
Constable Ballantine, the investigating officer, is keen to hear from anyone who saw what happened and in particular a woman who stayed with the injured party until she had recovered enough to leave.
