Woman due in court on firearm and burglary charges
A woman has been charged with burglary and possession of a firearm in connection with an incident alleged to have occurred in Newtonstewart at the weekend.
The 38-year-old is due to appear at Derry Magistrates’ Court this morning (Wednesday).
She was arrested following a police operation in the Clooney area of Derry on Tuesday, during which a police helicopter was deployed.
As is normal practice, the charges will be reviewed by the PPS.
