Due to the shortened season, the competition will only have SSE Airtricity League clubs participating. All 19 clubs will be involved in the draw with three fixtures set to be drawn out and the remaining 13 clubs will receive byes into the second round.

The draw will be live-streamed on the FAIreland Facebook page.

Last season Devine's troops lost out to holders Dundalk in the second round.

City twice came from behind to take the game into extra-time before former Candy Stripe, Georgie Kelly's goal late in the tie sealed the win for the Lilywhites.

Meanwhile, the SSE Airtricity League season fixture list will also be released today at 6p.m.

The season is set to restart on Friday, July 31st after the Covid-19 pandemic postponed all football activities in March.

The remaining fixtures for the truncated 2020 season will be released with two rounds of matches in total, including games played to date, and promotion/relegation as scheduled at the start of the 2020 season.

So, just 18 days left before the League of Ireland gets back up and running!
