The draw, which took place at FAI headquarters in Abbotstown, saw 13 teams receive a bye into round two, with only three ties taking in place the first round.

Derry's North West neighbours Finn Harps host St Patrick's Athletic in the first round, with last year's beaten finalists Dundalk taking on Waterford at Oriel Park and in the third and final first round tie, Neale Fenn's Cork City comes up against his old club Longford Town, at Turners Cross.

Dates and kick off times for first round ties will be confirmed in due course.

BYES TO SECOND ROUND: Derry City, Cabinteely, Shelbourne, Bray Wanderers, Sligo Rovers, Wexford, Shamrock Rovers, Athlone, UCD, Galway United, Cobh Ramblers, Bohemians, Drogheda United.
