The Limavady native, who is looking forward to his first game in charge at the Ryan McBride Brandywell Stadium, wants more from his players and is expecting a tough test against Ollie Horgan's side.

Although the Donegal men haven't won in their last four games, Higgins, who has won his first two games in charge of the Candy Stripes, feels they have enough attacking talent to threat his team.

"Obviously Finn Harps have started the season really well and we know that they'll be very well organised and they have got some really good individual players at the top end of the pitch, who we'll need to take care off if we are going to get a positive result," he stated.

Derry City's Ciaran Coll will have a late fitness test ahead of tomorrow night's home clash against Finn Harps.

"The players have been brilliant and I can't ask anything more from them, well I can and another three points tomorrow night would be lovely, but no they have been brilliant to work with along with the staff and I have really enjoyed my short spell in charge."
