The 24 year-old former Derry City man is contracted to Glenavon until the end of 2020/21 season but it's understood the player is keen for a return to a full-time set-up and it's believed the Lurgan Blues could be open to offers.

Coleraine, who reportedly had two bids turned down for Daniels during the January transfer window at the final hour, also remain interested in bringing the Glenavon star to the Showgrounds.

However, a move to either the Oval or Windsor Park appears the more likely destinations given the offer of full-time football at Belfast's 'Big Two'.

Glenavon is likely to accept a significantly reduced bid when the Irish League transfer window opens on August 1st given the player is permitted to speak to clubs from January next year.

And while Glentoran is expected to table a bid imminently, Linfield winger Joel Cooper's future could determine how far the Blues are willing to go in their attempts to lure the Derry man to the south Belfast club.

Linfield boss, David Healy is also understood to be keeping tabs on Derry City winger, Jamie McDonagh whose future at Brandywell Stadium remains uncertain, as a potential replacement for Cooper.

Should McDonagh depart the Candy Stripes, City boss Declan Devine will be on the lookout for a right sided midfielder and Daniels is understood to favour a return to his hometown club.

Glenavon now appear resigned to losing Daniels next month having already signed a ready-made replacement in pacey winger, Peter Campbell from Loughgall.

Campbell, who scored 15 goals for the Bluefin Sport Championship outfit this season, signed a three year deal with the Lurgan Blues.
