1. 24th: Wexford Youths
Wexford Youths, founded in 2007, gained promotion to the top flight for the 2016 season - the club's first and so far, only campaign in the Premier Division.
2. 23rd: Dublin City FC
The club were twice promoted to the League of Ireland Premier Division, playing at various grounds in Dublin, including Dalymount Park and Tolka Park until they were disbanded in 2006.
3. 22nd: Kilkenny City
Kilkenny City, proud members of the league since their election in 1985, played their games at Buckley Park until it folded in 2008.
4. 21st: Home Farm
Home Farm, based in Whitehall, Dublin, were known as Home Farm Everton and later Dublin City. As Home Farm Everton they played 77 games in League of Ireland.
